Hapoel Tel Aviv BC signed Patrick Beverley, a veteran NBA player, to a two-year deal worth $4 million, after he failed to find a new contract in the NBA. Beverley, who has played for teams like the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Milwaukee Bucks, is an experienced player with averages of 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. He will add experience and ability to the team, which hopes to achieve success in the Israeli league. Beverley started his career in Europe, where he played in Ukraine, Greece, and Russia, before moving to the NBA. He expressed his satisfaction with the contract, and said he is looking forward to playing in Israel. Hapoel Tel Aviv BC hopes to make Beverley's signing a success, and bring the team to a higher place in the league. Beverley finished last season with the Milwaukee Bucks, averaging six points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, while shooting 36% on 3-pointers. However, he faces a four-game suspension to begin the 2024-25 season after throwing a basketball at fans sitting courtside during Game 6 of the first-round playoff series with the Indiana Pacers.
